NOTEWORTHY ACHIEVEMENTS
Each year the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) honors a music teacher by presenting a Citation of Excellence in music education. For 2012, PMEA presented this honor to a music educator at the elementary level.
Pennsylvania is divided into 12 districts by PMEA. Our area is district 4. Elementary general or instrumental music teachers from over 26 school districts in District 4 were eligible for this award.
Patricia Begg,
from Park Forest Elementary was honored at the PMEA State Conference
as one of the 2012 Citation of Excellence winners.
Mrs. Begg's acheivement was announced at PFE's 2012 Spring Concert.
