Volleyball

Volleyball practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:00-4:30 p.m. at Park Forest Elementary. Parents are expected to pick up their children at Park Forest Elementary promptly at 4:30 p.m. Pull up in the bus lane by the main office and coaches will dismiss your child to you.
The dates for volleyball intramurals are as follows:
Fourth graders: Jan. 30; Feb. 1, 6, 8
Fifth graders: Feb. 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29; Mar. 12, 14 (A volleyball tournament to be held at the High School at the end of March for 5th graders only - tentative dates are March 19-21)
All 4th and 5th grade students will have an opportunity to learn volleyball skills. Fifth grade students will prepare for the district-wide volleyball tournament. The coaches will be stressing fun, fitness, and good sportsmanship.
Sneakers are preferred for playing volleyball. Permission slips MUST BE TURNED IN BEFORE the student can participate.
